The Cannabis Canada Forum Story

Cannabis Canada Forums was founded in Calgary, Alberta in 2016 by The Cannabis Canada Association and President and CEO of Silver Shows, Howard Silver. Along with his direct team, David Evans, Lisa Marin, and Eric Filion, Silver held a vision to bring relevant and informational cannabis legalization education to the forefront for Canadians. The Cannabis Canada Association collectively represents the largest majority of licensed cannabis producers in Canada. Together, the CannabisCanadaForums was created.

Excitement has been mounting in Canada since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau first mentioned his plans to legalize cannabis, and if you have been following the process you can appreciate how complex each step has been, and continues to be. Each Province has been leading and developing their own rule-set, from legal age for use, where cannabis products will be sold, legal consumption limits while/before operating a motor vehicle, costs, regulations on growing cannabis, and usage of medicinal vs. recreational cannabis.

Upon recognizing the vast need for relevant and timely information and education in the cannabis sector, Silver and his team have developed a program dedicated to meeting the needs identified within the Canadian public. For health care professionals, those within the industry and business builders wanting to enter it, along with the public from legal age to the elderly who are looking for alternative methods of medical treatment, Cannabis Canada Forums and #CannabisCon showcase an exciting line-up of events, programs, key-speakers and entertainment designed to educate and inform our Canadian public.

2018 Cannabis Canada National Education Conference and Business Opportunity Forums will provide you with an educational program specifically designed to delve deeper into topics of interest to all Canadians, with sessions delivered by well-known and respected industry leaders.
