Cannabis Canada Forums Announces Event Dates for Calgary & Edmonton, Alberta
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Calgary, January 30, 2018 — Cannabis Canada Forums has announced that Cannabis Canada’s National Educational Conference and Business Opportunity Forums and #CANNABISCON will be held at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre; Calgary, Alberta on March 1, 2, and 3 and the Shaw Convention Centre; Edmonton, Alberta on April 12, 13, and 14.
Cannabis Canada Forums’ educational and informative three-day event was developed to target the pressing needs of Canadians as the legalization date for cannabis quickly approaches. While Thursday’s event is an invite-only program designated to healthcare professionals, Friday has been set out to aid those within, or wanting to break into, Alberta’s next great economic opportunity through business ventures or investment.
New to our event this year is #CANNABISCON, which is featured on Saturday March 3. #CANNABISCON is a public event that will touch on everything from legislative updates, public safety and harm reduction seminars, innovation in the Canadian cannabis space, to cooking with cannabis and HR in the workplace. #CANNABISCON will also hold a job fair with participating vendors at the end of the event.
“We are focused on providing people with cannabis education and opportunities that can affect their lives in meaningful ways. We want to have a robust conversation about how impending legalization will impact all of us,” explains David Evans, Cannabis Canada Forums organizer.
Cannabis Canada Forums will feature key speakers and seminars from those within the industry, including the largest group of Canada’s licensed producers, physicians, business and research professionals, and members from three levels of government; municipal, provincial, and national. These presentations will focus on education around how cannabis legalization will affect parents, business owners and consumers. With education comes informed and safe decision-making, our goal for all Canadians.
Additionally, this year, Cannabis Canada Forums would like to welcome the involvement of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce to our events. With a focus on fostering a strong and competitive economic environment nationwide, while representing 200,000 businesses, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce is Canada’s largest and most influential business association.
We are looking forward to interacting with the thousands of Calgarians expected to attend.
